It's that time of year again when we as Americans break out our starred sunglasses and striped flip flops for a weekend full of backyard parties, great food, and if we're lucky some pretty banging fireworks. Although most people don't need an excuse to break out their red, white, and blue decor, some of us wait all year to wave our American freak flag. Check out some of my personal favorite pics to include for a party on the fourth.
This vintage American flag tapestry from Urban Outfitters is perfect for hanging on the side of the house. I personally can't bring myself to lay it on the ground but thankfully, Urban also has some other pretty cool Americana tapestries that are great for picnics or watching the firework show.
How fun are these?!
These Star poufs from Dash & Albert come in multiple colors but the navy is just the perfect shade of blue! Prop up your feet or use them for extra seating!
This chair is perfect not only for the 4th but all year round. Fold them up and take them to the beach or to a friend's backyard party! These traditional seaside chairs are made to withstand the elements and heavy use.
How cool are these?! No pun intended.... ;) Snow cones are vital to our American life if you ask me, as they have been around and apart of some of our long standing traditions such as baseball, fairs, & carnivals. They are the perfect cool treat on a hot day and with the syrups made by Sonoma syrups, they test great too.
I love everything Fishs Eddy, which is now available through West Elm. In particular these round trays are great for outdoor entertaining and they pair so well with Serena & Lily's Lobster Napkins.
One things for sure, every good party needs a good menu and you can't get much more American than Miss Kay from Duck Dynasty. Say what you want about the show, I'm a fan and proud of it. Plus I have a feeling none of those recipes are good for you which means they're bound to test amazing!
